Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Spoiler Review

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, hah, where do I begin? It took over the better part of March between me playing it and me writing about it on Game Rant. From tip articles to listing out the best quotes, I must have covered at least twenty pieces if not more.

One thing I haven’t discussed in a long-form format is my review of the game. So, let’s get to that now with this video. And yes, there will be spoilers. Enjoy!

Palworld Early Access Review For Xbox Series X

When I first saw the Palworld trailer in 2021 I was of two minds. One, Nintendo is going to sue this thing into the ground because some of the designs were so close. Two, is this some elaborate prank like a Rick and Morty episode? Pokemon with guns? That’s ludicrous! Well, here we are three years later and I’m here to tell you, hey, Palworld is pretty dang rad. Let’s get into it.

Bleak Sword DX Nintendo Switch Review

Bleak Sword DX is a simple game with a creative aesthetic. There’s a backstory involving a king and some magic crystals but it’s not important. You’re a random knight who wanders into a forest and has to fight his way to freedom through increasingly difficult lands. Sound good? Well, here’s my quick review.

Special Notes: I received a Switch review code for Bleak Sword DX.

Cassette Beasts and Mr. Sun’s Hatbox Review

It’s been another long span since my last video. My excuse is as usual. I’ve been writing a lot of content for Game Rant. As always, I encourage you to check my stuff out there. I wish I could turn my lists into videos because I’ve had a lot of great ideas recently.

Maybe someday if only I had the time or manpower… Well, anyway, sorry for leaving my devoted subs on YouTube in the shade. I’m back for a double Switch review of two interesting indie games: Cassette Beasts and Mr. Sun’s Hatbox.

The Best and Worst Games of February 2023

February was another huge month for games. It was truly incredible. I played a lot for review and pleasure, so without further delay, let’s just dive right into the obscure and AAA titles I went through including Active DBG: Brave’s Rage, Akka Arrh, Dust & Neon, Elderand, Fashion Police Squad, Helvetii, Scars Above, Wild Hearts, and Like a Dragon: Ishin. But wait! Those weren’t the only games I played, so tune in for more!

10 Games You Probably Missed From March 2022

March was a wild month for games. I played ten games I got review codes for but I played even more than that which I bought on my own. Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Triangle Strategy, Final Fantasy Origin. Not to mention games that came out at the tail end of February like Elden Ring. So, needless to say, my month was filled with gaming goodness. Some of these games were awesome, some good to okay and others, well, you’ll see.

They run the gamut from RPGs to puzzle games on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. Unfortunately, a mini-vacation set me back a bit meaning I had no time for a retrospective this month. So, bad news aside, let’s begin this review countdown. Enjoy!

Special Notes: I received review codes for The Cruel King and the Great Hero, Dark Deity, Dawn of the Monsters, Young Souls, Shadow Warrior 3, Weird West, Tunic, Terrorbane, Wife Quest, Aztech: Forgotten Gods.

Monark Review

Monark is a new strategy RPG with familiar features. It was worked on by former Persona developers before they jumped ship to create their new brand. The story follows the canonically nameless and voiceless main character as his school is engulfed in a demonic bubble. Now, students are falling prey to the Mist that is brainwashing their minds.

The main hero almost falls victim to this Mist as well before a maniacal stuffed rabbit grants him incredible power. Together he, and his fellow students that he meets along the way will have to save the school one floor at a time. Is Monark nothing more than a barebones Persona-like or does this RPG have what it takes to be among the best? Find out in my review. Enjoy!

Special Notes: I received a Nintendo Switch review code for Monark.

PlayStation Vita 10th Anniversary Retrospective

Today marks the 10th anniversary of the PlayStation Vita, one of the most underrated portables, let alone consoles, of all time. It launched on February 15, 2012 in North America, which was just two months after Japan. I absolutely loved my Vita and I can thank it for introducing me to new ways of gaming. It was revolutionary and secretly, I think, why the Switch has been so successful. What do I mean? Find out in the deep dive of my memories on the console.
