This month marks the tenth anniversary of Heavy Rain. It originally launched on February 23, 2010, for the PS3 and was later remastered in 2016 for the PS4, which is the version you’re seeing now. This month marks the tenth anniversary of one of the most unique games of all time, Deadly Premonition. It originally launched on February 23, 2010, for the Xbox 360 with later ports coming to the PS3, PC, and just recently Switch as of last year. That’s the version I decided to replay this with, which came with some pretty neat pins. Join me as I revisit this game, blemishes and all, in this brief retrospective. Enjoy!
Darksiders Genesis is yet another prequel in the franchise as well as the first spinoff. This may be frustrating for some fans considering questions set up in the original 2010 release have yet to be been answered. Prequel status aside, it is at least better than Darksiders III. Vitamin Connection is the next game from WayForward and an exclusive for the Switch. It kind of reminded me of a cross between Dr. Mario and a retro-themed space shooter like Gradius with a few Metroidvania-like elements. Bayonetta originally launched on January 10, 2010 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in North America. It later got an enhanced port, with Nintendo themed extras, alongside the debut of Bayonetta 2 on Wii U on October 24, 2014. In 2017 it made it to PCs and in 2018 both games came out on Switch, but were basically just ports from the Wii U edition. This remastered version then is out, alongside Vanquish in a physical collection, to celebrate its tenth anniversary. Does it hold up? Find out in my review. Enjoy!
