Today marks the 20th Anniversary of Final Fantasy Tactics. It released for the original PlayStation on January 28, 1998 in North America. For me it’s still the best spinoff the series has seen yet, but unfortunately there’s never been a proper sequel. That said it has exploded into its own sub-series. Full Metal Furies is a co-op brawler in the same vein as more modern classics like Castle Crashers and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game. It’s the next title from Cellar Door Games since 2013’s Rogue Legacy. Needless to say it has been in the oven for a while now.
