Children of Morta: One Year Later

Children of Morta released over a year ago now. It hit the PC market in September 2019 and consoles the following month. Funnily enough, I put up my PS4 review on my birthday, October 14th.

Now, exactly one year later to that review, I’m doing it again. What has been added to the game over the past year, and does it hold up? Let’s find out. Enjoy!

Cake Bash Review

Cake Bash is a multiplayer-focused game similar in tone to Mario Party. As a sentient tray of deserts wishing to be bought, you, and three other friends, must compete in order to become the tastiest delicacy on the menu. Was this a filling treat, or a bit too yeasty to enjoy? Find out in my review. Enjoy!

Special Notes: I received a review code for Cake Bash.

Foregone Review

Foregone is a 2D action game that looks and plays similarly to Dead Cells. That said it’s a more linear game than its randomized roguelike counterpart. What exactly is it then and was it fun? Find out in my review. Enjoy!

Special Notes: I received a review code for Foregone.

Alwa’s Legacy Review

Alwa’s Legacy is the sequel to the original that came out three years ago. It’s another Metroidvania, so how did it shape up? Better than the first, worse, or somewhere in the middle? Find out in my review. Enjoy!

Special Notes: I received a review code for Alwa’s Legacy.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time Review

Crash Bandicoot is finally back and better than ever! Well, better than his last entry before the remakes, which was a decade ago. As the joke name points out, it’s about time Crash returns with all of his zany glory to the platforming realm. Is it too little too late? Find out in my review. Enjoy!

Special Notes: I received a review code for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.
