Top 5 Fan Patched Game Boy Games

This month marks the 30th anniversary of the Game Boy. It launched on April 21, 1989 in Japan. It was later released that July for North America, but let’s forget about that for now. In honor of the original debut I decided to look at games that only launched in Japan. And then I thought, hey, let’s look at the best fan patches while we’re at it. Long-winded explanation aside, here is five amazing imported Game Boy games with English translations. Enjoy!

Top 10 Ninja Games

I don’t know about you, but I’m really digging Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice even though it is kicking my butt. That’s kind of standard for a FromSoftware game though. Anyway, it’s been a long time since a really great AAA ninja game came out so it made me want to think about what my top ten ninja games would be. In order, let’s get to ranking. Enjoy!

Hob: The Definitive Edition Review

Hob originally launched on September 26, 2017, for PS4 and PC. Despite generally positive reviews the developers, Runic Games, shut down a little more than a month later on November 3. Suffice it to say Hob has been hidden away since until Perfect World announced it picked up the publishing rights and is now bringing it to Switch.

They also added some upgrades, which are more like patches, improving the quality of life of the game. You’re not going to see a drastic difference if you played it the first time, but it will make the game a bit easier to pickup for newcomers. With that business out of the way, let’s get to the actual review. Enjoy!

I received a review code for Hob: The Definitive Edition.
