Retro Game Roundup: The Games Of January 1992, 2002, and 2012

Welcome to my first post in my 2022 retrospective series on games from 1992, 2002, and 2012. All three episodes for January are up now in one big content dump. I hope the future episodes will be sprinkled throughout the following weeks in each successive month. There is some great stuff to celebrate this year from all three eras. Get pumped!

Breakneck City, Demoniaca: Everlasting Night, & The Company Man Reviews

January was a sleepy month in terms of game releases. February looks like it’s going to be massive, provided there aren’t any delays. And March, phew, there is not going to be enough time. Anyway, this month wasn’t completely barren. I got three review codes for some smaller indie games that came out in January. Are they worth a look? Let’s find out in my video review roundup. Enjoy!

Special Notes: I received Nintendo Switch review codes for Breakneck City, Demoniaca: Everlasting Night, The Company Man.

Windjammers 2 Review

Windjammers 2 has been a long time coming. The original arcade game launched in 1994. It was forgotten to time, save for emulation, until it got its first round of ports in 2017. The support for it must have been enough to green-light a sequel in 2018. How did this sequel to an arcade classic turn out four years later? Find out in my review. Enjoy!

Special Notes: I received a Nintendo Switch review code for Windjammers 2.

Junkwraith Review

Junkwraith is not a game. This will be my first comic review which is odd but exciting. I’m always game to try something new when it comes to review codes, or in this case, a review PDF. This indie comic is a complete story and brand new as of this recording. So, without further to do, let’s get into it.

Special Notes: I received a review copy of Junkwraith.
