Grand Theft Auto 20th Anniversary

Today marks the 20th anniversary of Grand Theft Auto’s release in North America. Originally debuting in Europe in October 1997 for PC, it wouldn’t be until February 28, 1998 that we got a taste. Suffice it to say the series has come a long way what with its fifteen games not mention ports. There’s a lot to take in so sit back, relax, and enjoy this video retrospective!

Mulaka Review

Mulaka is something akin to The Legend of Zelda, or maybe a better analogy would be to liken it to one of its clones: Okami. Basically it’s a semi open world action adventure game with a Mexican flair. How does it stack up next to its predecessors? Find out in my review. Enjoy!

Special Notes: I received a PS4 review code for Mulaka. The game will also be available on Steam, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Strikers Edge Review

Strikers Edge is the latest in competitive party games, which tries to put a spin on the concept of dodgeball. Does it reach the heights of similar games like Nidhogg 2, or TowerFall? Find out in my review. Enjoy!

Special Notes: I received a PS4 review code for Strikers Edge.

The Darkside Detective Review

The Darkside Detective pays homage to the occult and old school adventure games. When the sleepy town of Twin Lakes City experiences a set of paranormal activity, Detective Francis McQueen is summoned to solve the case. Is this spooky mystery worth your time? Find out in my review. Enjoy!

Special Notes: I received a Nintendo Switch review code for The Darkside Detective.

The Longest Five Minutes Review

The Longest Five Minutes takes place literally during the last five minutes of this epic RPG. Trouble is you, Flash Back, can’t remember how to defeat the Dark Lord. Does this quirky idea go beyond its gimmick, or fall flat as a B-tier RPG? Find out in my review. Enjoy!

Special Notes: I received a Switch review code for The Longest Five Minutes.

Mercenary Kings: Reloaded Edition Review

Mercenary Kings: Reloaded Edition is an enhanced port of the original that launched back in 2014. It boasts better performance and balancing along with giving players new content such as two new characters: C-Zar and Frigg. I played it when it released on the PS4 as a free PS Plus game and liked it, but never finished it. This port gave me a good excuse to go back, but was it worth another try? Find out in my review. Enjoy!

Special Notes: I received a Switch review code for Mercenary Kings: Reloaded Edition.

Night in the Woods Review

Night in the Woods originally came out last year on nearly all systems except one of Nintendo’s until today. It’s a hybrid between an adventure game and a platformer. Do these two genres meld together well and does its story captivate? Find out in my video review. Enjoy!

Special Notes: I received a Switch review code for Night in the Woods.
